Top Community Development Executive leads and plans all aspects of an organization's economic development lending activities to support or subsidize improvements in the community. Develops and maintains relationships with groups, agencies, and organizations in the community to identify business development opportunities. Being a Top Community Development Executive establishes the policies guiding the community development strategy and ensures the organization's compliance with the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) and other regulations. Contributes to marketing efforts to foster company visibility and awareness of projects or initiatives. Additionally, Top Community Development Executive monitors ongoing initiatives to evaluate progress and efforts. Researches and evaluates current and future community needs to identify lending and other business development opportunities. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Top Community Development Executive manages a departmental function within a broader corporate function. Develops major goals to support broad functional objectives. Approves policies developed within various sub-functions and departments. To be a Top Community Development Executive typically requires 8+ years of managerial experience.     Idaho Central Credit Union’s mission is to help our members achieve financial success. As a Community Development Intern, you will engage with our members and others in the community by assisting the Community Development team in planning events and bringing them to life.

    You will also gain hands-on experience with the behind-the-scenes aspects of event production processes, communication, business administration, special events management, and strategic partnerships.

     

    Responsibilities

    At work, your Primary Responsibilities will include:

    • Working collaboratively with the Community Development, Communications, and Events teams.
    • Assisting with the planning, organization, and execution of events.
    • Updating spreadsheets, databases, and inventories.

    Qualifications

    Before you apply, make sure you have:

    • A valid Driver’s License, as this is a driving position (a company vehicle is provided).
    • The ability to work weekends and holidays as needed or scheduled.
    • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
    • Attention to detail and organizational skills.

     

    This role will also require some Physical Abilities, including:

    • The ability to lift 70-80 pounds of equipment (potentially including the money machine, coolers, tables, etc.)
    • The ability to tolerate extensive local travel.
    • The ability to stand for extended periods of time.
    • The ability to reach keyboards and operate basic office machines.

     

    You must be eligible for membership at Idaho Central Credit Union to obtain employment.
