Develops and maintains relationships with groups, agencies, and organizations in the community to identify business development opportunities. Being a Top Community Development Executive establishes the policies guiding the community development strategy and ensures the organization's compliance with the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) and other regulations. Contributes to marketing efforts to foster company visibility and awareness of projects or initiatives. Additionally, Top Community Development Executive monitors ongoing initiatives to evaluate progress and efforts. Researches and evaluates current and future community needs to identify lending and other business development opportunities. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. Highland Rivers is seeking a Community Workforce Development Liaison for the Whitfield / Murray counties.
JOB SUMMARY: This position is primarily responsible for connecting people in the broader community by creating partnership agreements and cultivating relationships with businesses, individuals, and other relevant organizations with a focus on recovery to work initiatives. These positions work closely with our Supportive Employment program to provide individual access to resources and support needed. The successful candidate must be able to work in a team environment but also possess a strong independent work ethic, have excellent computer and follow-up skills and possess excellent communication skills.
