Top Community Development Executive leads and plans all aspects of an organization's economic development lending activities to support or subsidize improvements in the community. Develops and maintains relationships with groups, agencies, and organizations in the community to identify business development opportunities. Being a Top Community Development Executive establishes the policies guiding the community development strategy and ensures the organization's compliance with the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) and other regulations. Contributes to marketing efforts to foster company visibility and awareness of projects or initiatives. Additionally, Top Community Development Executive monitors ongoing initiatives to evaluate progress and efforts. Researches and evaluates current and future community needs to identify lending and other business development opportunities. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Top Community Development Executive manages a departmental function within a broader corporate function. Develops major goals to support broad functional objectives. Approves policies developed within various sub-functions and departments. To be a Top Community Development Executive typically requires 8+ years of managerial experience.     Responsibilities:

    Our B2B sales professionals engage business decision makers in person, over the phone and via, email or video conference to educate them about their state’s community solar program and help them join. Responsibilities include:

    • Conduct telemarketing, virtual and in-person sales activities to educate customers about community solar.
    • Help interested customers opt-in for a local solar farm so they can benefit from the program.
    • Learn relevant program information, sign-up process, benefits, Q&As, and relevant skills to ensure customers have a positive experience
    • Meet enrollment targets and performance metrics on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
    • Attend regular team meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.

    Compensation:

    · Experienced reps earn between $125,000 – $200,000 per year

    Qualifications:

    We are looking for enthusiastic, driven go-getters with excellent communication skills. This opportunity is ideal for candidates with small business or enterprise sales experience. If you have knowledge or experience with solar, energy supply, or other services geared to business accounts, you have great skills to get started.

    • Sales experience
    • Ability to quickly build rapport and trust

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Knowledge of solar energy and community solar is a plus, but not required (training provided)
    • Ability to work independently, show initiative, manage your own schedule, and prioritize tasks
