Top Community Development Executive leads and plans all aspects of an organization's economic development lending activities to support or subsidize improvements in the community. Develops and maintains relationships with groups, agencies, and organizations in the community to identify business development opportunities. Being a Top Community Development Executive establishes the policies guiding the community development strategy and ensures the organization's compliance with the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) and other regulations. Contributes to marketing efforts to foster company visibility and awareness of projects or initiatives. Additionally, Top Community Development Executive monitors ongoing initiatives to evaluate progress and efforts. Researches and evaluates current and future community needs to identify lending and other business development opportunities. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Top Community Development Executive manages a departmental function within a broader corporate function. Develops major goals to support broad functional objectives. Approves policies developed within various sub-functions and departments. To be a Top Community Development Executive typically requires 8+ years of managerial experience.     Description

    This job is responsible for providing expert direct administrative support of a highly complex and responsible nature to the Chief Executive Officer and serves as the staff liaison to the Board of Directors. The incumbent also provides administrative support in the form of scheduling appointments for our Physician Assistant. Responsibilities are broad in scope, carried out with significant independence, judgment and accountability and require a high degree of professionalism, discretion, confidentiality, diplomacy, and awareness of organizational and strategic issues and sensitivities.

    • Provides executive administrative support to the CEO, such as managing and maintaining the calendar, appointments, and travel arrangements, arranging and coordinating meetings, and/or editing correspondence, communications, presentations, and other documents, i.e. expense reports and reimbursement requests.
    • Oversee logistics/coordinates special events and fundraisers, including scheduling, invitations, creating agendas, preparing materials (such as presentations and reports), setting up A/V, and taking/preparing/distributing minutes.
    • Proactively coordinate and manage internal and external communications.
    • Provides office coordination for the executive office, including managing correspondence to the senior leadership team.
    • Prepares materials for meetings of the Board of Directors, sends out Board packets, attends meetings, and takes minutes.
    • Orders and maintains offices supplies for the administrative office.
    • Schedules appointments for the Physician Assistant and follow up from sessions.
    • Provides administrative support to the Physician Assistant.
    • Represents MDC at community gatherings and meetings.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Schedule: Mon - Fri, 8am - 4:30pm

    Compensation:

    • $22 - 25/hour

    Qualifications


    • Associate’s degree, relevant certifications or equivalent combination of degree and experience
    • 3 years administrative support experience supporting executives or physicians.
    • Advanced proficiency with MS Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
    • Basic business writing skills and the ability to draft written communications.
    • Excellent interpersonal and time management skills
