ABC has provided vocational support, recreation/leisure activities, and independent living services to people with disabilities in the Rochester, Caledonia, and La Crescent, MN, areas since 1956.
About the job:
The Executive Director is responsible for the planning, organizing, staffing, directing, and controlling of ABC in accordance with the policies and parameters established by its Board of Directors. Develops and communicates in concert with the board a vision of the future for ABC. Serves as a technical and professional advisor to the Board of Directors. Provides the Board with information on new trends and developments in rehabilitation, management, production, human resources and other important areas. Gathers and analyzes information on operations and makes recommendations for consideration by the Board of Directors. Acting in concert with the President of the Board, the Executive Director enables the board to fulfill its governance function and facilitates the optimum interaction, communication, teamwork, and trust between the management team, staff, individuals served, Board of Directors and the community.
Schedule:
This is a full-time, exempt (salaried) position with regular daytime hours Monday through Friday. Some evening and/or weekend hours may occur.
