Responsible for overseeing community-based health programs aimed at the prevention of disease and promotion of health. Participates in and approves grant proposals and monitors overall use of grant funds. Additionally, Top Community Health Executive oversees all community health programs from planning and design through implementation and evaluation. Typically requires a master's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to a top management. The Top Community Health Executive manages a departmental function within a broader corporate function. Develops major goals to support broad functional objectives. Approves policies developed within various sub-functions and departments. To be a Top Community Health Executive typically requires 8+ years of managerial experience.     GENERAL POSITION DESCRIPTION:

    Instruct courses within Health Professions, such as Pharmacy Technician certification, Medication Aide certification, Patient Care Technician certification, Nurse Aide certification (CNA), and Nurse Aide Supplemental certification. Employee may not exceed 19.5 hours per week.


    WORKING CONDITIONS
    :

    Restricted-Sustained posture, for prolonged periods; light lifting, some walking, pushing, pulling on a regular basis. Minimal Hazard/Exposure - Standard office setting. At least minimal environmental controls are in place to assure health and comfort.

    BENEFITS:

    Part-Time Retirement. Participation in Medicare Part A, but not Social Security (FICA).

    QUALIFICATIONS:



    Certified Pharmacy Technician Instructor

    • Minimum Requirement: Certified Pharmacy Technician with 5 years’ experience or Pharmacist
    Certified Medication Aide Instructor
    • Minimum Requirement: Registered Nurse with 2 years' minimum long-term care experience
    Certified Patient Care Technician Instructor
    • Minimum Requirement: Licensed Vocational Nurse/Registered Nurse with 3 years’ experience
    Certified Nurse Aide Instructor
    • Minimum Requirement: Licensed Vocational Nurse/Registered Nurse 1 year minimum long term care experience
    Certified Nurse Aide Supplemental Instructor
    • Minimum Requirement: Certified Nurse Aide and 2 years' minimum long term care experience, Associate of Applied Science, preferred major in Allied Health or Nursing
