Builds effective teams and the capacity to estimate, scope, design, plan, organize and implement construction projects. Additionally, Top Construction Executive represents the organization in discussions and negotiations with clients, contractors, governmental or regulatory officials, and other stakeholders. Functional Role
The Superintendent manages all aspects of the field construction operations to include coordinating subcontractors’ schedules, arranging for the delivery of materials and supplies, supervising Company employees assigned to the project, assuring that quality control procedures are in place and continuously used, and monitoring jobsite safety and security, plan review, shop drawing review, submittal review, generating and tracking RFIs.
Chain of Command
The position reports directly to the Director of Operations and is supported in the field by a Project Manager
Other Functional Roles
-Ensuring that Perrone’s jobsite quality control and safety and security policies and procedures are continuously followed or that decisive action has been taken to correct violations to these.
-Ensuring that subcontractors have control over their crews, tools, equipment and other items that are required to meet the needs of projects

Job Requirements
Educational Requirement: Technical High School and/or completion of Vocational Studies.
Preferred: College Degree.
The person must have a minimum of 10 years in a construction environment with at least five of those years should be spent in a supervisory or management position. The person must be able to multi-task, think ahead and be able to coordinate numerous activities, anticipate problems, develop positive relationships, communicate effectively, and maintain job efficiency.
The person must be able to think like an owner in terms of protecting the company’s assets and must be capable of making prudent project related decisions. Must also be able to communicate with and maintain positive relationships with owners, architects and field personnel regarding construction activities.
Skills/Knowledge: Must be skilled in the construction trades and be able to read, understand and interpret drawings, blueprints plus technical specifications and addenda. Must be able to anticipate and identify the various jobsite priorities and direct the subcontractors and their crews to meet these priorities.
