A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A CONSTRUCTION FOREMAN

As a Construction Foreman you play an essential and lead role on the job site by ensuring that daily operations run smoothly and efficiently. You will coordinate daily job site schedules and tasks. You will oversee a job site crew and you will communicate between the crew and subcontractors. You will work directly with the construction superintendent to make sure all quality, safety and health guidelines are followed. You enjoy the variety inherent in your job and receive satisfaction from collaboration and completing projects efficiently, safely and within budget, all while helping JL Construction to continue to build on their reputation in the field for quality work.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A CONSTRUCTION FOREMAN

• High School Diploma or GED required
  
• OSHA 10 Certification
• 3 years of relevant experience in the field of excavation/horizontal construction
• Ability to interpret project/construction documents
• Knowledge of local quality, safety and health for construction job sites (MA/ CT)
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to learn industry-specific software programs quickly
• Must possess exceptional organizational and communication skills
• Willingness to travel locally to various job sites

WORK SCHEDULE

This full-time position typically works days, Monday - Friday.
