Develops quality, performance, and safety standards and processes for construction projects and operations. Being a Top Construction Executive manages financial processes like forecasting, estimating, budgeting, and cost control to ensure profitability. Builds effective teams and the capacity to estimate, scope, design, plan, organize and implement construction projects. Additionally, Top Construction Executive represents the organization in discussions and negotiations with clients, contractors, governmental or regulatory officials, and other stakeholders. Identifies risk and implements insurance and risk control strategies. Monitors costs and timelines to deliver projects on time and within budget. Evaluates and implements new or innovative construction methods and systems to improve efficiency, productivity, and project outcomes. Job Duties:
1. General Manager of existing construction company that has been in business 20 years
2. Business development strategy implementation, including estimating
3. Create business systems that assure customer needs are met consistently and efficiently
4. Manage risk and business execution
5. Manage day to day field activities
6. Spend time, as needed, on job sites, to ensure quality products, that meet schedule, and stay within budget
General Requirements:
1. Pass pre-employment and random drug tests

Technical Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or closely related field
2. Established technical background in industrial construction, minimal 5 years’ experience
3. Proven business development and management experience, minimal 5 years’ experience
Pay: Depending on experience and qualification(s): $75,000-$125,000 salary plus profit sharing/commission(s)
Travel Requirements: Multiple weekly visits to various job sites and customer offices, typically located within 120 miles of New Waterford, OH.
