Job Description

The Corporate Executive Chef is a highly-visible and hands-on cooking, and training position that will work closely with Alto-Shaam’s Sales department as well as with dealers, sales representatives and end-users to drive sales for all of Alto-Shaam’s product lines. Will also help support new product development and launches through product testing and evaluation, customer support, recipe creation/cooking and product demonstrations.

The ideal candidate for a Corporate Executive Chef would be able to do the following:

• Conduct product demonstrations of Alto-Shaam’s products in the field either at our rep’s test kitchens, customer sites or corporate test sites.
• Lead product demonstrations at Alto-Shaam’s HQ to help bring awareness our products cooking ability to perspective customers.
• Expert in all Alto-Shaam’s product to be able answer any questions from reps, dealers, and end-users.
• Help with meal planning and preparation for demonstration events either internally or externally.
• Coordinate and conduct live cooking demonstrations at trade shows both nationally and internationally
• Support Alto-Shaam departments in New Product Development. Support collaborative and cross-functional engagement and support of engineering/product management function to help establish product/equipment testing criterion and application performance objectives while meeting required project deadlines.
• Effectively manage and utilized culinary team resources through established standards and best practices to support global sales growth objectives.
• Manage and execute at a high-level functional support of ongoing marketing development
• Management and departmental task assignment to support collaborative and cross functional engagement and support of engineering function to establish product/equipment testing criterion and applications performance objectives while meeting required project deadlines.

Qualifications

For a candidate to be successful as a Corporate Executive Chef they must have:

• Culinary degree and minimum of 10 years work experience in a variety of kitchens
• Past experience training/teaching/coaching others on food equipment operations
• Past experience using Alto-Shaam’s equipment is a plus
• Ability to multi-task and setting priorities in a fast-pace environment
• Strong presentation and leadership skills in front of customers
