Top Distribution Executive develops and directs the operational strategy, business processes, and systems for overall distribution operations, including order fulfillment, warehousing, inventory management, and transportation. Establishes measurement metrics and sets performance targets that align with company objectives and are within regulatory guidelines for all distribution-related functions. Being a Top Distribution Executive implements data-driven analytical tools and systems to continuously monitor operations, identify inefficiencies, and develop optimization strategies. Ensures all operations adhere to industry safety protocols and comply with OSHA, DOT, or other governmental regulations. Additionally, Top Distribution Executive requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Top Distribution Executive manages a departmental function within a broader corporate function. Develops major goals to support broad functional objectives. Approves policies developed within various sub-functions and departments. To be a Top Distribution Executive typically requires 8+ years of managerial experience. The primary function of this position is to provide full store service to Novo Distribution's (dba Empire) National Home Center (NHC) account in a "territory" of stores. Duties include but are not limited to: merchandising products within the stores (zone recovery), culling and writing credits for damaged or defective products, cycle/" focus" counts, controlling customer inventories for maximum turns with minimum stock-outs, recommending new products when appropriate, addressing customer concerns, stocking replenishment orders every week in select stores, and periodically conducting resets and training on the Company's products.
