Maintenance Technician

Mechanical:
Repair and maintain mechanical pneumatic and hydraulic components on production machines such as metal fabricating stamping machines, material handling system, automated assembly machines, degreasing equipment, anodizing lines, and conveyor systems.

• Clear Understanding of Programmable Controllers and Robotics
• Experience in metal stamping environment/manufacturing.

Main responsibilities

• Provides emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production, and performs scheduled maintenance and repairs of production equipment during machine service.
• Prepares and sets up machinery for scheduled production runs.
• Performs mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of production machines.
• Reads and interprets equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service
• Comply with OSHA Safety and Health Rules
• Know the proper and improper use of PPE and equipment with ultimate concern for personal safety and safety of others
• Communicate any/all issues with equipment that needs to be addressed on weekend or other designated downtime of equipment.

Knowledge and Education

• Technical training – mechanical, electrical, pneumatics, hydraulics, PLC, robotic welding
• Previous employment in a manufacturing environment
• Clear understanding of lean principals and the application of lean tools

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $29.00 - $37.00 per hour
