The St. Paul’s Schools is pleased to announce an opening for a full-time Executive Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion to start on July 1, 2024.
Guided by our mission and in alignment with The School’s commitment to Episcopal values, including ‘respect for, and appreciation of, all people from all backgrounds,’ the Executive Director will create a comprehensive program unifying the St. Paul’s Schools DEI efforts.
Position Description
The St. Paul’s Schools Executive DEI Director position is unique. This thoughtful leader will find a new strategic plan supported by the current mission, vision, and values clarification process, and department by department needs identification clarified through a two-year project and ready for implementation. The School is prepared for a director to co-create, build and collaborate with the DEI coordinators and chaplaincy team to lead the implementation of its goals and lead the unified campus into the next phase of DEI work. This position will collaborate with the Board of Trustees and partner with employees, students, parents and all constituencies on campus to develop and implement our DEI action plans.
With full leadership support, this role will report to our heads of school for St. Paul’s School for Boys, St. Paul’s School for Girls, and St. Paul’s Pre and Lower School and will be a member of the Executive Team. The Executive Team will serve as a roundtable to encourage, assist and collaborate on all questions, topics and issues that may impact this position. The Executive Director is a 12-month, full-time position.
