Job Summary:
Seeking a seasoned and software savvy Executive Assistant to provide administrative support to a busy executive running both a business and a nonprofit. The ideal candidate will be proactive, resourceful, and able to handle a wide range of administrative and executive support-related tasks. In this position, you will be involved in a wide range of innovative projects from research to patient advocacy. You will interact with physicians and industry executives throughout the country.
Duties:
- Manage executive calendars, including scheduling meetings and appointments
- Coordinate travel arrangements and prepare itineraries
- Screen and direct phone calls and distribute correspondence
- Prepare reports, presentations, and data
- Assist in project coordination and follow-up on action items
- Maintain office filing systems, both electronic and physical
- Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner
Experience:
- Proven experience as an Executive Assistant or similar administrative role
- Proficient in Google Docs
- Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software
- Experience with databases
- Strong phone etiquette and excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
- Ability to multitask and prioritize daily workload
- Project coordination experience is a plus
- Health care related background not required but a very strong plus
