Top Division Business Development Executive directs the development and execution of the business development vision, strategy, plans, and processes that will drive sales, increase revenue, expand markets, and accomplish financial objectives. Identifies and evaluates new markets, partners, channels, and customers. Being a Top Division Business Development Executive develops a wide network of contacts to keep informed about current and future industry and market actions. Researches and analyzes the business environment, competitors, and customers to develop ideas for new products and services, pricing, and business models. Additionally, Top Division Business Development Executive directs financial feasibility studies, proposal development, and negotiations for new business opportunities. Collaborates with marketing, sales, product development, and other stakeholders to support business development plans. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management.   • AquaPhoenix Scientific is seeking an experienced Business Development Executive responsible for building and expanding the Company’s process and control equipment division. We are looking for a highly motivated candidate to open doors, hunt sales, and are excited to join our expanding business.

    Primary responsibilities include identifying new business opportunities, advancing the sales process, building/expanding relationships with clients/customers, and devising strategies to drive growth and profitability. The successful candidate will be working in a team-driven environment, rich in culture and experiencing tremendous growth. Knowledge of the industrial or commercial water treatment industries is a benefit but not required.

    Desired Skills, Education, and Knowledge

    AquaPhoenix Scientific considers applicants with diverse backgrounds, education, and work experience; however, applicants for the Business Development Executive, Equipment Solutions position will frequently have a combined education and/or work experience that is a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field; along with four or more year’s sales experience - preferably in the water treatment industry. Requires a valid US driver’s license and the ability to travel as required to fulfill the expectations of the position.

    Additional characteristics, attributes, and skills include but are not limited to:

    • Develop and follow through on proactive sales leads through external source leads, cold-calls, and current customer/prospects.
    • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and expand the customer base.
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, networking, and prospecting.
    • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, concerns, and account management.
    • Understand client needs and objectives, and tailor solutions to meet their requirements.
    • Conduct regular account reviews to assess client satisfaction, identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling, and address any issues or challenges.
    • Collaborate with internal teams such as product development, marketing, and customer support to ensure client needs are met effectively.
    • Track sales activity, pipeline, and performance metrics using CRM software.
    • Generate regular sales reports and forecasts to management, providing insights into market trends, customer behavior, and competitor activity.
    • Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities.
    • Proven track record of successfully meeting/exceeding annual sales goals and targets.

    This is a remote sales position; however, residence in the DFW metroplex area or northeastern US is a plus, but not required. The successful candidate will be subject to customary travel as reasonably required to perform the essential responsibilities of the job – including infrequently to the Company’s corporate offices located in Hanover, PA.
