From design to implementation to installation MMI are your stockroom experts!Position Reports To: Corporate ControllerSalary Range: $100K - $140K / DOEPurpose of Position: Contribute to the day-to-day accounting operations of the manufacturing divisionEssential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Leads financial statement preparation and balance sheet reconciliations for subsidiary
- Ensures that accounting records are prepared and designed effectively in accordance with US GAAP
- Completes analytical reviews of monthly, quarterly, and annual operating results to ensure accurate financial reporting
- Supports internal control design and performance of controls on-site
- Liaison for integrating operational accounting into shared service model
- Leads efforts to increase in-house inventory accuracy and control by partnering with Operational and Sales managers
- Accounting Business Partner to Operational Business Unit Leadership
- Supports the division in future system implementation projects
- Supports the preparation of deliverables for audit and tax engagements
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance with 7 or more years in progressive accounting responsibilities
- CPA or Advanced Degree preferred
- Public audit experience preferred
- Expert in US GAAP
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate work
- Willingness to learn, positive attitude and teamwork
- Work experience using MS office tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
