    Description

    Applies principles of accounting to analyze diverse and complex financial information and prepares financial reports. Responsible for the accuracy, integrity, control, and timeliness of financial reports, analyses, systems, and processes.  Responsible for conducting internal control audits to be sure the business is following legal and ethical business practices.

    JOB DESCRIPTION

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

    • Manages the company’s financial transactions.
    • Participates in plans for the company’s financial growth.
    • Prepares the company’s financial reports.
    • Applies principles of accounting to analyze a variety of financial information.
    • Monitor and maintain capital projects and fixed assets.
    • Analyzes processes and makes recommendations for improvements without compromising internal controls.
    • Takes part in the budgeting process.
    • Manages the company’s accounting employees.
    • Provides financial training to employees when needed.
    • Evaluating and managing financial risks.
    • Prepares income statements.
    • Perform other duties, as requested.

    REQUIRED SKILL

    • Experience with spreadsheets and financial analysis software.
    • Attention to detail, coupled with patience and tenacity.
    • Knowledge of regulatory and other financial standards and requirements.

    EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

    • Minimum for a bachelor’s degree in accounting or business administration.
    • Master of Business Administration
    • Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Management Accountant (CMA), or a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) would be considered.
