Top Division Human Resources Executive plans and directs human resources policies, objectives, and initiatives for a division or region within an organization. Implements end-to-end human resources function to deliver talent acquisition, training, compensation, benefits, labor relations, and employee support services. Being a Top Division Human Resources Executive partners with leadership across the organization to provide human resources programs aligned with the organization's operational objectives, mission, and values. Builds and develops the teams and technology resources to facilitate regulatory compliance, recordkeeping, transaction processing, and analysis of workforce metrics. Additionally, Top Division Human Resources Executive identifies and explores trends in human resources to enhance the employee experience, meet evolving organizational needs and create innovative programs. Spend your days along the rail tracks and work as a team with the switching crews to safely move railcars in, out and around the facility. This is a regular full-time position so if you are looking for a stable, long-term career in a booming industry, then consider joining the PSC Group family!

    Work Schedule: Monday - Friday Day Shift, Some Weekends Required

    Pay Range: $24.00 - $25.00 an hour based on experience

    Job Duties & Responsibilities:
    • Confer with conductors and other workers via radio-telephones or computers to exchange switching information
    • Signal crew members for movement of engines or trains, using lanterns, hand signals, or radios.
    • Observe and respond to signals, including color light signals, position signals, torpedoes, and flags.
    • Operate engines within railroad yards or other establishments to couple, uncouple, or switch railroad cars.
    • Spot cars for loading and unloading at customer locations.
    • Inspect engines before and after use to ensure proper operation.
    • Apply and release hand brakes.
    • Read switching instructions and daily car schedules to determine work to be performed, or receive orders from yard conductors.
    Job Qualifications:
    • Experience operating a locomotive
    • Must have a valid Driver’s License 
    • 18 years or older and legally able to work in the U.S.
    • Pass a drug screen, physical, and background check
    • Previous military experience and proven ability to follow procedures is a plus.
