Position Summary: Administer, direct, and coordinate all functions related to employment including staffing, benefits, training, compensation, and compliance with employment laws. The Director of Human Resources is responsible for staffing qualified personnel; ensuring employment statute compliance; and overseeing all aspects of wage, benefit, worker's compensation unemployment, and training program direction, implementation, and administration. Accountable for ensuring legally appropriate posting of all line and supervisory positions in a timely manner, timely facilitation of orientation and service culture training, the accurate and timely completion of paperwork, and the understanding and enforcement of company, state, provincial and federal policies. Familiarity with and knowledge of employment laws are essential.
