JOB SUMMARY
The Director of Information Technology will manage and direct the company’s information technology (IT) operations, ensuring the department provides efficient and effective technical support service. Ensures the quality of infrastructure services delivered system-wide is maintained at acceptable levels, including managing incident response and escalations, as well as planning for future growth and disaster recovery. Directs department efforts to plan projects and provide cost effective, computer-based systems and services that support the system mission, vision, and strategic plan of hospital district. The IT Director also serves as the security officer who is responsible for the organization’s Security Program including but not limited to daily operations. The IT security program keeps oversight of the annual and ongoing risk assessment process, development, implementation, and maintenance of policies and procedures, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity and access of electronic protected health information and of monitoring program compliance as well as investigation and tracking of incidents and breaches and in compliance with federal and state laws.
