Texas Research International (TRI), a group of profitable privately-owned companies with 145 employees and $45M in revenue, is seeking a Senior Accountant/Division Controller for its subsidiary Texas Research Institute – Austin be responsible for all accounting operations and government financial compliance programs.
This position includes full cycle accounting responsibilities and will provide support to leadership & project managers and report to the CFO/COO.
The selected candidate will lead, implement, and improve TRI’s financial accounting, reporting, audits, and compliance in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Contractor Audit Agency (DCAA) rules, regulations, and policies and with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). This position reports to the Chief Financial Officer.

Work Environment: This job operates in a professional office environment located in SW Austin, Texas and will be full-time on-sight.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time, exempt position. Under the Regulations, Part 541, an exempt employee is one who is not entitled to the minimum wage or overtime pay protections of the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA). Days and hours of work are [Monday through Friday, between 8:00 a.m. and 5:30 p.m.] This position may work outside of normal business hours to include evenings and weekends as needed.
Travel: Less than 10% of travel is expected for this position.
