The Business Analyst (Account Management and Marketing) is responsible for providing analytical support for the marketing and account management organization. The individual will be accountable for providing details and insights regarding analytics for revenue, volume, voice of the customer (VOC) data, market trends, competitors, internal company trends, and marketing campaign effectiveness to measure performance and enhance business decisions. The individual will be responsible for the collection, analysis and reporting of data and the development and tracking of key performance indicators that will enhance business understanding to ultimately drive sales intelligence, productivity and profitability.
Location: 100% Remote in USA
Responsibilities:
• Analyze financial data and profitability reports related to field operations, gross margin trends, utilization, share of wallet etc.
• Provide analytic insight of financial and operational metrics to strategically support decision making in product/program initiatives: market demand and penetration, sales goals, productivity, staffing, financial modeling, process mapping and optimization.
• Develop monthly scorecards to track key performance metrics, create presentations outlining financial and operational metrics for senior management.
• Design, implement and update reporting tools, and develop marketing and training tools to support the successful implementation of new programs/partnerships.
• Serve as Account Management VOC and POC for Marketing initiatives and processes and best practices.
• Assist with other projects assigned such as IT projects initiated to support new products/programs both incorporating needed system changes and/or setting up the proper automated reporting structure, campaigns, and oversight of data including but not limited to creating and management of Salesforce.com reporting and dashboards.
Qualifications:
• 3-5 years of experience in financial analysis with exposure to sales and marketing concepts
• Ability to thrive and influence decision makers in a matrix environment
• Familiarity with salesforce.com or similar customer relationship management platform
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Experience working in Business Objects and Minitab
• Change agent determined to attain goals and deliver on commitments
• Highly proficient in Power Point, Excel and Access
• Bachelor’s degree in business or finance required
