The Operations Manager will oversee approximately 7-10 International Move Management Consultants (IMC's) who are responsible for pricing and coordinating international household goods moves for agents and corporate accounts. The Operations Manager is responsible for growing business through excellent customer service and ongoing communication with agents and accounts and performance monitoring of their team. The role therefore requires mentoring, coaching and training the IMC's within the team and ensuring they have the tools, skills, and attitude to achieve service standards.

QUALIFICATIONS AND PREFERRED SKILLS

• Excel skills preferred

• Strong analytical skills

• Access skills preferred

• Strong written and oral communication

• Analytical – understanding of rev. expense margin, basic math (calculate weight, density, CWT, rates, etc), data-based problem solving

• Basic knowledge of country geography

• Organization – time management, setting priorities, multi-tasking, deadline oriented

• Teamwork and ability to work with different cultures

• Results-oriented

• Computer skills – mainframe experience a plus, Microsoft Office and Outlook, Excel and Access proficient

EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

4-year degree preferred
