We are seeking a skilled Administrator-Clerk-Treasurer (ACT). The ACT will be responsible for managing & supervising administrative operations of the Village government, implement current growth plans and continue forward movement, manage personnel operations, department supervisors and staff, financial operations, long & short-term, elections, record keeping, village business processes for licenses, permitting and all required documents as well as preparing meeting agendas and packets while reporting to the Village Board of Trustees.
Duties:
- Manage and oversee the organization's financial systems and processes
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures
- Prepare financial reports, budgets, and forecasts
- Monitor cash flow, investments, and financial performance
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards (IFRS, GAAP) and regulatory requirements (SOX)
- Conduct account analysis and reconciliation
- Manage accounts receivable and payroll processes
- Provide financial analysis and recommendations to the executive team
- Economic growth visions and implementation
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of financial concepts and practices
- Experience with GAAP compliance
- Proficiency in Workhorse or similar accounting software
- Public accounting experience is a plus
- Excellent financial acumen and analytical skills
- Ability to perform account analysis and reconciliation
- Familiarity with payroll processes
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
