The Sign Division Laborer will provide direct labor to assist with the installation of construction and permanent signage on road construction projects throughout the State. This is a traveling position.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Follow all safety rules and regulations
- Lift, carry and stack materials and traffic control devices
- Wash and clean vehicles, equipment and traffic control devices
- Maintain delivery/pickup tickets
- Ability to read maps and knowledge of local streets
- Maintain accurate and timely driving logs
- Valid Driver’s License
- Full compliance with all safety initiatives
- Manually dig holes up to 5 feet in depth
- Work on overhead structures and supports
- Prepare daily time card and “On Street” reports
- General understanding of project plans and project specifications
- General understanding of standard drawings and specifications
- All other duties as assigned
Compensation:
The wage range for this position is $21.74-$25.00
The majority of our work is prevailing wage allowing our team members to earn much higher annual wages
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid Driver License, clean driving record
- Effective communication both verbal and written
- Ability to regularly lift/move up to 25 lbs, occasionally up to 75 lbs
