    Job Summary: As a Training Manager/HR Recruiter, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of training and development programs while also managing recruitment processes within our organization. You will collaborate with department heads and HR teams to identify training needs, design training initiatives, and coordinate recruitment efforts to attract top talent. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring that our workforce is equipped with the necessary skills and competencies to succeed, while also strategically sourcing and onboarding exceptional candidates to support organizational growth.

    Responsibilities:

    1. Training Management:

    · Collaborate with department heads and subject matter experts (SMEs) to identify training needs and develop comprehensive training plans aligned with organizational goals and objectives.

    · Design, develop, and implement training programs utilizing a variety of delivery methods, including workshops, e-learning modules, simulations, and on-the-job training.

    · Oversee and conduct onboarding training including crane, forklift, and manlift training/certification.

    · Create training materials, presentations, and resources that effectively communicate learning objectives and support skill development.

    · Organizes and schedules training sessions, workshops, and events (such as expos and live field presentations).

    · Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through participant feedback, performance metrics, and post-training assessments.

    · Continuously identify opportunities for improvement and innovation in training delivery and content to enhance employee development and engagement.

    · Responsible for updating and modifying curriculum as indicated.

    · Manages budgets and resources for training programs.

    · Maintains relationships with external vendors, trainers, and others involved in training and development of programs for internal and external development.

    · Monitor and evaluate industry occurrences and respond with training updates.

    · Performs other related duties as assigned.

    2. Recruitment and Talent Acquisition:

    · Develops, facilitates, and implements all phases of the recruitment process.

    · Collaborates with department managers to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria.

    · Source, screen, and recruit candidates for various positions within the organization, utilizing a variety of recruitment channels and techniques, including job boards, social media, networking events, and employee referrals.

    · Review resumes, conduct initial screenings, and coordinate interviews with hiring managers to assess candidates' qualifications, skills, and fit for the organization.

    · Manage the full recruitment cycle from job posting to job offer, ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout.

    · Collaborates with the hiring manager and/or other human resource staff during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other pertinent details.

    · Attends and participates in college job fairs and recruiting sessions.

    · Develop and maintain strong relationships with candidates, internal stakeholders, and external partners to facilitate effective recruitment and talent acquisition efforts.

    · Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and legal requirements related to recruitment and talent acquisition, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

    · Performs other duties as assigned.

    3. Documentation and Reporting:

    · Maintain accurate records of training activities, including training schedules, attendance records, evaluation results, and training-related expenses.

    · Prepare regular reports and analysis on training metrics, recruitment metrics, and other relevant HR data for management review.

    · Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies related to training documentation, recruitment processes, and employee records.

    Qualifications:

    · Strong ability to analyze and understand complex data and information

    · Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with employees, candidates, managers, and stakeholders.

    · Strong background in instructional design and adult learning theory

    · Ability to coordinate training and develop methodology to ascertain training retention

    · Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

    · Strong supervisory and leadership skills

    · Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS software, with experience using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and learning management systems (LMS).

    · Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or related field.

    · Strong understanding of recruitment and talent acquisition processes, including sourcing strategies, candidate assessment techniques, and employment laws and regulations.

    · Certification in training and development (e.g., CPLP, CPTM) and/or HR (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) is preferred.

    Education and Experience:

    · Experience with course development or instructional design.

    · Experience instructing classes for adults in seminar or classroom setting.

    Physical Requirements:

    · Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

    · Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.

    · Ability to travel throughout the facility as required to evaluate training needs and results.

    Additional Requirements

    · Must be available to travel to, and participate in, industry events as needed.

    · Must be available to travel to off site company and client locations.

    · Develop relationships within industry organizations such as ADSC, DFI, AED, etc.

    · Learn and understand IDE’s corporate culture.

    Work Environment: This role typically operates in an office and outside environment, with regular interactions with employees, managers, candidates, customers and external vendors. Some travel may be required for attending training sessions, recruitment events, or industry conferences.
