Job Objective:

Responsible for accepting and sorting donations, sending items into E-Commerce/E-Books, entering items into software, and shipping items that are to be placed for sale in an online store. This position reports directly to the Store Manager and performance is reviewed annually.

Essential Job Functions:

• Knows and understands the Goodwill Mission: Strengthen communities by empowering individuals and families through education, training and job placement.
• Receive and process donations/books from drive thru.
• Responsible for quickly evaluating items condition and value.
• Maintain knowledge of software used for processing E-Commerce/E-Book items.
• Appropriately manifest and ship items to E-Commerce/E-Books department.
• Regularly communicate with management/supervisor regarding E-Commerce needs.
• Be familiar with the Do Not Send List and follow all guidelines.
• Have a basic understanding of what is selling on E-Commerce.
• Manage inventory to ensure sellable products are posted.
• Pack and ship orders as directed by E-Commerce Department.
• Help accept donations and fill in for DTA when needed.
• Help supervise E-Book employee when needed.
• Train store employees to identify what to look for to send to E-Commerce.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

• Ability to exercise good judgment.
• Must be knowledgeable and competent in use of the internet and web research.
• Must have good computer skills and the ability to use a variety of computer software applications including but not limited to Microsoft Office applications, Upright lister.
• Must have effective oral and written communication skills.
• Must be detail oriented.
• Must follow the dress code and wear designated identification as provided.
• Must be present and on time for scheduled shifts.

Physical Requirements:

• Must have good eyesight and hearing.
• Must have good physical stamina and mobility as well as the ability to lift, bend and work on feet for at least (4) hours at a time.
• Ability to move filled boxes and barrels weighing no more than 50 pounds.
