Position: E-Commerce Warehouse Assistant

Position Summary:

The E-Commerce Warehouse Assistant assists the Warehouse Manager with oversight of the warehouse, inventory management, and supply chain optimization.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Ensures operational procedures are followed for activities such as verification of incoming and outgoing shipments, handling, and disposition of materials, and keeping warehouse inventory current
• Confers with Warehouse Manager to ensure coordination of warehouse activities
• Responsible for day-to-day operations and escalation of issues in the absence of the Warehouse Manager
• Assist with cycle counts and inventory control
• Encourages teamwork within the workforce to ensure set productivity targets are met
• Other duties as assigned

Skills/Abilities:

• Strong communication skills both verbal, written, and detail orientated.
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft applications, SAP, and warehouse management systems
• Demonstrate organizational, mathematical, and analytical tools.

Qualifications:

• Education: Relevant degree in Supply Chain Management, Warehouse Management preferred
• Experience: Three (3) years of experience in warehousing in the tire industry.

Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
