The City of Commerce City is seeking an Executive Administrative Supervisor to join the Public Works department. You will work alongside a team of administrative specialists and a permit technician, providing complex administrative, analytical, and technical assistance to the Department Director and division managers.
As the Executive Administrative Supervisor, you can work on exciting projects, manage work orders and invoicing, and support the director of Public Works. You will also have the chance to grow your skills and knowledge by learning new software applications and financial transaction practices.
The ideal candidate will have advanced knowledge of office operations, functions, principles, practices, programs, policies, procedures, and terminology used in the department. They will also have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be able to work effectively with various individuals and groups.
We are looking for someone who is customer service-oriented, highly organized, and able to work independently. You should also be able to coordinate and work effectively with a variety of individuals and groups. Discretion and the ability to make sound decisions are a must.
This full-time position may require some evening work to support the director of Public Works.
Hiring salary is dependent upon experience.
The hiring range for this position is $64,389 - $80,486/annual.

Associate's degree in a related field and six years of progressively responsible administrative experience, preferably in municipal government. Supervisory or lead worker experience or training is strongly recommended. Must be proficient with Microsoft Office applications. An equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities may be considered.
