This position identifies and selects donated products for sale online; thoroughly examines each product to determine the correct condition, manufacturer and other pertinent criteria; takes detailed, clear and appropriate photos; writes concise, appealing and accurate descriptions; and lists items on the best online platform available to maximize Goodwill of SJV sales and profit margins. This position reports to the E-Commerce Manager.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Meets and exceeds daily production goals.
Ability to sort through donation bins to identify and select items for online sales.
Thoroughly examine items to be listed to determine if sellable via online platform.
Accurately post and describe collectibles/specialties, media and other merchandise placed for online sales as directed.
Sets appropriate bidding prices that will support the maximum revenue.
Stage and photograph merchandise to enhance the sales potential of each item.
Search other auction sites for competitive information when writing item description and setting starting bid price points.
Clean and test products as needed.
Ensure non-selling items are removed and processed out of the system per established standards.
Maintain accurate documentation of posted items; accurately stock listed items in assigned storage bin locations to ensure the integrity of inventory control.
Maintains effective quality working relationships with internal and external customers. Promotes and demonstrates teamwork and cooperation.
Support Agency safety and security programs.
Assist with store housekeeping, including but not limited to the storage and processing areas.
Observe and support all Agency policies and training programs.
Regular attendance is required to perform the essential functions of the job.
SECONDARY DUTIES
Assist in the loading/unloading pallets and tubs, categorizing and handling of all donated or new merchandise.
Assist in Order-Filler/Shipper with packing and shipping items as needed.
Assist with customer service inquiries regarding merchandise for sale.
May act as back-up to customer service.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education Required: High school graduate or accredited equivalent. Associate of Arts Degree preferred.
Experience Required: Two years of PC experience in an office or retail setting. Experience in online sales preferred with the ability to review data and transfer appropriate information for product descriptions. Familiarity with photography equipment helpful.

Knowledge Required: Knowledge of collectibles and/or antiques. Online listing experience strongly preferred. Basic principles in general sales, effective customer relations, and shipping and receiving.

This job requires moderate emotional effort involving low to high customer interaction (internal and external). Work environment is fast paced with high activity/demands.
JOB SETTING
Flexible work schedule, including weekends and holidays. Variable environmental conditions ranging from 25 to 115 degrees. Some exposure to extreme heat and cold.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Ability to ambulate, reach, and lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to bend/lift from the waist. Ability to stand for long periods of time. Good hand/eye coordination. Good dexterity in upper extremities and upper torso.
