We have an exciting opportunity for an E-Commerce Software Developer to join our team. This position will be responsible for gathering requirements and developing Oracle Web Commerce (ATG) applications to support the business and create a smooth customer experience.
This position is based at our corporate office which is centrally located at Rocky Point, overlooking the waters of Tampa Bay.
Key Responsibilities:
- Development of Oracle Web Commerce(ATG) applications and support.
- Work with Business Analysts to collect and develop application requirements for added website functionality and improvements on existing applications.
- Interface with UX design team to ensure appropriate design is being developed.
- Participate in ongoing development and discussions initiatives with Technology Team
- Investigate new technology and ideas to enhance website and commerce functions.
- Participate in code reviews and resolve security and vulnerability issues as they arise.
- Implement development best practices and standards.
- Work closely with engineering/product/quality teams to take the E-commerce properties to the next level.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related experience.
- Knowledge of ecommerce best practices, frameworks and tools.
- 3 years’ working experience on Oracle Web Commerce(ATG) is a plus
- 3 years of experience in application development with strong focus on Java, J2EE, REST API Development, and Unit Testing
- Strong OO programming skills and understanding of design patterns
- Good knowledge of SQL and Oracle database fundamentals.
- At least 2 years of experience in software development life cycle.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical collaborators and stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and also with local and remote team members.
- Experience working with JIRA is a plus.
- Flexible and willing to adapt to changing business objectives
