The Plant Controller must be able to quickly and effectively articulate financial issues in a clear and concise manner as well as be adept in interacting with many different functional people on different levels of the organization. Responsibilities:
· Responsible for the management of 1 full-time employee.
· Oversee operations encompassing payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and inventory management.
· Execute month-end close, including preparation and coordination of monthly journal entries and account reconciliations.
· Lead annual budget activities, including labor and overhead expenses, and standard costing of products.
· Coordinate and prepare month-end, quarter-end, and annual financial reports.
· Drive consistent costing methodologies and strategic data across diverse business operations (manufacturing, inventory, and buy/sell) in collaboration with corporate leadership.
· Coordinate local product costing, payroll, A/P, and fixed asset management.
· Support local Operations and Corporate Finance Teams with daily/weekly/monthly operational and financial metrics.
· Prepare weekly/monthly forecasts.
· Assist local Engineering/Operations with capital projects approval requests.
· Analyze, interpret, and present detailed results.
· Ensure local compliance with accounting policies and other corporate policies.
Requirements:
· Bachelor's degree in Finance and/or Accounting, CPA preferred
· Strong Excel skills (Pivot Tables, V-lookups).
· 10 years of Manufacturing Accounting experience.
· Significant ERP experience, GSS strongly preferred.
