Minimum Qualifications
Economic Services Caseworker I:
Graduation with a high school diploma or GED equivalency with a minimum of three (3) years of experience in a clerical position with public contact required.
One (1) year of eligibility experience as an Income Maintenance Case Worker preferred.
NC Fast Core Certification and Level I Core Trainings must be obtained within 90 days of hire.
Must have strong computer skills, exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Economic Services Caseworker I:
Graduation with a high school diploma or GED equivalency with a minimum of one (1) year of eligibility experience as an Income Maintenance Case Worker required.
NC Fast Core Certification and Level I Core Trainings must be obtained within 90 days of hire.
Must have strong computer skills, exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Pay Scale:
Economic Services Caseworker I: $16.66 - $28.28/hr
Economic Services Caseworker II: $18.34 - $31.18/hr
Minimally qualified applicants will start at 25% of the salary range:
Economic Services Caseworker I: $19.55/hr.
Economic Services Caseworker II: $21.55/hr.
The applicant selected must undergo and pass a drug screening test prior to employment.
