  • About this role:

    Wells Fargo is seeking an Employee Relations Manager to lead a team of Employee Relations Consultants. The manager will support the team in handling requests for consultation on a variety of case types that may include employee performance, attendance, conduct, conflict of interest and disputes received from employees and managers through the case management system.

    In this role, you will:
    • Manage and develop a high performing team, and assist in the resolution of escalated employee relations matters
    • Ensure team maintains compliance with internal controls, SLAs, and monitor reporting as well as established role specific training requirements
    • Responsible for making recommendations and improving current Employee Relations or Human Resources practices and policies across the Wells Fargo Enterprise
    • Enhance the Employee Relations model through effective consultation and review of data to support business decisions, internal training, and talent assessment
    • Collaborate and consult with Employee Relations peers, colleagues, and all levels of management
    • Collaborate with key partners and recommend enhancements to the development and design of policies and procedures
    Required Qualifications:
    • 4 years of employee relations experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
    • 2 years of Leadership experience
    Desired Qualifications:
    • 2 years of management experience
    • Strong conflict resolution skills
    • Extensive knowledge and understanding of human resources practices and policies
    • Experience using a human resources case management system
    • Experience with employee relations consultation on city ordinance, state statute, and federal regulation policies
    • Ability to identify and evaluate trends, isolate root cause, and provide swift/thorough resolution
    • Ability to interact with integrity and a high level of professionalism with all levels of team members and management
    • Ability to provide leadership to a virtual or remote team
    • Highly refined and professional verbal and written communications
    • Knowledge and understanding of human resources analytics and reporting
