Environmental Scientist/Project Geologist
EnviroPhase, a leading Dallas based environmental consulting firm, is seeking an Environmental Scientist or Project Geologist based in the Dallas-Fort Worth area with prior experience in commercial/industrial Phase I/II/III environmental site investigations, due diligence, and regulatory compliance projects.
Location: Dallas-Fort Worth area
Education: Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Geology, or closely related field
Experience: 2 or more years of work experience in the field, primarily related to environmental services including Phase I and Phase II ESA's, well/soil boring installations, environmental sampling, compliance inspections, and supervising contractors. Technical writing including preparing text, tables, figures, field documentation, and calculations for environmental reports.
Certifications: 40-Hour HAZWOPER certification and current 8-Hour Refresher strongly desired. Preference for candidates with TCEQ LPST Corrective Action Project Manager (CAPM), and/or Geologist in Training (GIT).

Travel: Regular travel to local (DFW) area job site in personal vehicle (mileage reimbursed) plus up to 20% travel for projects in the State of TX and potentially elsewhere. Use of personal vehicle is required with mileage reimbursed at published government rates. Must have a valid driver’s license and good driving record.
Physical Demands: Field assignments are located in a variety of climactic conditions at times including difficult and diverse climates. Position requires standing, walking, squatting, bending, and lifting up to 30 lbs. for extended hours. Position requires use of hand tools and equipment. This position also requires extended periods of sitting when compiling data.
