Job Description:
This is a full-time position as an Environmental Specialist responsible for the client’s Chemical Management Program, located at a high-tech site in the Albany, New York Capital Region, within fifteen minutes of Saratoga Springs. This individual will work as part of a team of environmental compliance professionals managed as an integrated regional Environmental Health & Safety and Security (EHSS) organization supporting the client’s Northeast U.S. operations.
The Environmental Specialist will serve as the Chemical Management Program Manager for the client, coordinating the new chemical review and approval process, tracking chemical storage information, conducting or verifying import/export reviews as required under the U.S. Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA), and completing environmental reporting for chemicals at the site such as the Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know Act (EPCRA) Toxic Release Inventory (TRI) and Tier II reports.
