Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Environmental Health and Safety Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with safety regulations and promoting a safe work environment.

Duties:

- Ensure compliance with all environmental permits by maintaining proper records, reporting, testing, etc.

-Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards
- Develop and implement safety policies and procedures
- Provide training to employees on safety protocols and procedures
- Investigate accidents and incidents to determine root causes and prevent future occurrences
- Maintain records of safety inspections, training sessions, and incidents
- Collaborate with management to address safety concerns and implement corrective actions

Experience:
- Previous experience in environmental health and safety roles in a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of CPR, First Aid, and Workers Compensation procedures
- Strong report writing skills for documenting safety activities
- Experience in developing training programs related to safety
- Familiarity with Occupational Health standards and EPA regulations
- Ability to proactively find solutions for safety improvements
- Proficiency in conducting root cause analysis for incidents
- Understanding of Workers Compensation laws
