This position is responsible for providing a safe and healthy work environment for our employees while promoting employee safety and environmental responsibility in all aspects of the operations. The primary focus will be dedicated to EHS oversight at the location to include Health and Hygiene related to OSHA & EPA.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Assist the EHS Manager and Coordinator in the department’s scope of responsibility.
Employee Safety, Regulatory Compliance (OSHA/EPA), Computer Based Training, Continuous Improvement/LEAN, Occupational Health, Industrial Hygiene, Business Continuity, Workers’ Compensations, Property Insurance and Social Responsibility.
Ensure documentation accuracy with all applicable federal, state, local and corporate environmental, health and safety laws, regulations, policies, and guidelines.
Ensure documentation accuracy emergency plans, Security Plans.
Responsible for incident investigation data, visual board postings and observations from employee audits.
Uploading and tracking information in the computer-based training software.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
A combination of /or either:
An associate degree or professional accreditation in professional trades or a related field.
3- 5 years relevant experience in an EHS or related field in a manufacturing environment.
Working knowledge of material flow and manufacturing operations.
Fluency in Microsoft Office and various environmental software programs.
