YOU
As a member of the Environmental, Health, and Safety Department, you will be working in a fast-paced environment, managing confidential matters and exercising high levels of discretion and judgment. This position requires a proactive, self-starter who possesses exceptional multi-tasking and communication skills, both oral and written. A high level of professionalism, organization, and flexibility are essential. The ideal candidate will resolve competing priorities and work proactively to anticipate the Environmental, Health, and Safety Department needs.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING(% of Time)
General Administrative Functions
Collect and input data for reports generated daily, weekly, and monthly for EHS metrics, safety and environmental regulatory compliance. Create and send emails to managers regarding month-end information. Update bulletin boards. Invoice for Prescription Safety Glasses, Shoe Reimbursement Program, and Hearing Molds. Create employee training folders and filing training. Collect and distribute department mail. (40%)
Engagement
Conducts routine daily, weekly, and monthly inspections. Collects inspection sheets conducted by departments- forklifts, etc. Update Safety Data Sheets binders. Create and ensure that secondary labels and Haz-waste labels are stocked and available. (40%)
Office Management
Inventory, Order, Stock Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). (15%)
Other EHS Support Duties
Assist with reported safety incidents, securing medical attention through Concentra, transporting employees, or drug testing. (5%)

$24.09 - $30.10 / Hour
