S.S. Equipment, one of the Northwest’s premier New Holland equipment dealerships, is seeking a full-time Service Technician. Due to the seasonality of our business, candidates must be able to work longer hours in the summer.
Applicants must have a valid driver’s license with no major driving infractions in the last 3 years.

Physical Demands typical of Service Department Employees:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that typically must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the Service Department. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
While performing the duties of the Service Department, employees are regularly required to work standing for extended periods of time, or all day. Frequently employees move, lift, and set up parts, tools, or equipment up to 50 lbs. Employees regularly bend and crouch to maneuver underneath the hood or undercarriage of a tractor or equipment to point out problems/repairs to customers. Occasionally employees unload deliveries up to 50 lbs. Occasionally employees put parts/tools away on multi-level shelving up to 50 lbs. Pulls parts/tools up to 50 lbs. when necessary. Employees are regularly required to use hands/fingers to operate a cash register, keyboard, or telephone. Employees are regularly required to use hands/fingers to operate small hand tools necessary to performing the duties of the mechanic or technician role. Service employees regularly speak and listen on the phone and in person, to a customer or fellow employees. Specific vision abilities required by employees of the Service Department include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
