Role and Responsibilities

• Develops and updates Sanitation Procedures to reflect accurate cleaning processes, correct sanitation chemical management and correct sanitation tasks
• Train sanitation personnel on Sanitation Procedures, proper chemical usage, and handling
• Ensures site Master Sanitation Schedule meets the Aramark requirements and regulatory requirements
• Ensures compliance with all food safety policies and procedures
• Represents Aramark Facility Services on daily basis to the customer's employees and key decision makers
• Assists with policy, procedures, and paperwork to ensure that all Company and Customer standards are achieved in assigned plant
• Effectively supervise, mentor / develop, and coach all employees, including assistant manager
• Create annual budgets and then manage to meet and / or exceed them

Required Competencies

• Must be knowledgeable in GMPs, Allergens, HAACP, etc.
• Must be willing to complete trainings, courses, certifications, and other material to further develop and stay current with changing laws and regulations
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Must be able to follow instruction
• Follow all Aramark & Client policies such as safety, labor, GMPs, etc.

Preferred Skills

• Forward thinker who is proactive instead of reactive
• Knowledge of food manufacturing / production
• Ability to analyze and do root cause analysis on issues
• P&L experience

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Ideal candidates will possess a bachelor's degree (and / or requisite industry & management experience) as well as technical knowledge of maintenance equipment, cleaning procedures, and POM activities
• Experience with food production and sanitation a must
• Experience directing skilled, semi-skilled and non-skilled trade personnel in a union and / or non-union environment is required
