Top Facilities Management Executive leads overall operations and develops the strategy and policies to deliver design, planning, implementation, construction, and maintenance of an organization's facilities and properties. Plans and allocates the capital, equipment, and operating budget to support current operations and long-term facility plans. Being a Top Facilities Management Executive ensures the reliability of all building mechanical, electrical, fire/life safety, plumbing, and waste management systems. Reviews and negotiates contract terms and conditions for contractors selected for facility projects and the delivery of services. Additionally, Top Facilities Management Executive establishes building operations policies, procedures, and service standards to comply with all local laws and regulations. May be responsible for additional facility-related functions like food services, security, safety, environmental, or administrative services. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Top Facilities Management Executive manages a departmental function within a broader corporate function. Develops major goals to support broad functional objectives. Approves policies developed within various sub-functions and departments. FMM is seeking a motivated professional to fulfill our Project Executive position. FMM is a maintenance and construction company located in Denham Springs, LA servicing both residential and commercial clients nationwide. The Project Executive positon will help facilitate our customer service objectives and lead their team in the daily activities with FMM's values and mission in the forefront. Job Summary The Project Executive is responsible for leading the project team through all phases of the project, from initiation through closure. The Project Executive will manage the completion of construction projects throughout the nation and will require occassional travel. Construction projects could include but are not limited to: residential remodels/small projects, commerical building renovations, and multi-family/student housing renovations.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: (Included but not limited to)- Make decisions using the 5 values of FMM as your guide: Quality, Teamwork, Pride, Passion, and Integrity
- Oversee the management of day-to-day operations of any projects assigned to your team
- Ensures all safety requirements are met with each job site, monitoring safety performance of direct reports as well as subcontractors and vendors when applicable
- Oversee and manage the financial progress of each project, including contractual obligations, pay schedule, work in progress schedules
- Documents employee performance, for direct reports, throughout the year and communicates action with employee for implementation
- Adheres to operating procedures to ensure staff is operating as efficiently and effectively as possible
- Ensures training objectives are met for all staff within stated timeframe
- Ensures all assigned employees are actively participating in department goals
- Organizes and leads weekly toolbox talks at each jobsite
- Ensures client contract compliance is upheld
- Mantains communications with clients when necessary
- Orients new co-workers and actively supports teamwork throughout the company
- Participates in corporate and team meetings
Required Skills and Abilities:
- A bachelor degree in Construction Management or 5 years of construction management experience
- Knowledge of both residential and commercial systems
- Experience in contractor accounting systems such as CMiC or similar
- Tech savvy and proficient in Microsoft Suite
- Ability to perform construction related tasks in the field if needed
- Excellent problem solving skills
- A take initiative mindset
- A strong focus on customer relations
- Excellent leadership skills
- Valid drivers license and clear driving record
- Ability to pass a drug screen
Physical Requirements:- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time
- Ability to pass a Fit for Duty Screening
