A Career with the Financial Planning and Analysis Team

The Point72 Finance Analytics team is involved in a wide range of strategic firm initiatives and long-term model planning for the firm.  In this role, you will work closely with senior managers in Finance and senior management across the firm, providing research and analysis. This exciting opportunity offers the ability to work directly with many internal departments across the firm.

What you’ll do

• Lead projects and perform strategic ad hoc financial analysis for a wide range of senior leaders across the firm including the founder
• Present analytical findings in a clear, concise, and compelling manner to help drive actionable outcomes for senior leaders
• Take responsibility for a broad range of complex processes which may include recurring forecasting, financial modeling, assisting in the tax process for the founder, return analysis, etc.
• Identify and implement process improvements to minimize opportunities for error and to improve the timeliness of our deliverables
• Manage and actively update team models for scenario analysis and long-term planning
• Support implementation of the firm’s strategic priorities

What’s required

• 8 years of professional experience in corporate finance, financial analysis, and/or consulting
• An ability to think strategically to tackle complex problems and build thorough financial and analytical models
• An ability to effectively communicate with senior members of the organization and provide synthesized and clear analysis and recommendations to management
• Strong interpersonal skills and a desire to pitch in to help the team and the broader firm
• Willingness to take responsibility for a broad range of complex processes
• Competency in managing many competing priorities simultaneously and ability to pivot seamlessly between tasks
• Passion for identifying new opportunities for change and innovation and creatively implementing recommendations
• Intellectual curiosity
• Excellent attention to detail and a process-oriented approach mindset
• Strong financial modeling, Excel, and PowerPoint skills
• Commitment to the highest ethical standards

The annual base salary range for this role is $200,000-$270,000 (USD) , which does not include discretionary bonus compensation or our comprehensive benefits package. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things.
