About Your Work

• Develop and maintain enterprise- and operational-level reporting solutions to support business operations, including executive dashboards, performance metrics, and ad-hoc reports.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Analyze complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for process improvements.
• Design and implement data visualization techniques to effectively communicate insights to stakeholders.
• Ensure the accuracy, reliability, and integrity of data used in reporting by performing data validation and quality assurance processes.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular reports to stakeholders on business performance.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in enterprise reporting and analytics.
• Provide training and support to end-users on reporting tools and techniques.

About You

Education

• Bachelor's or Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a similar field or equivalent experience

Experience

• 1-3 experience in business intelligence with a focus on report building is required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Strong proficiency in SQL and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
• Experience working with large datasets and databases (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience working in an agile environment and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of statistical analysis techniques and predictive modeling is a plus.

Compensation for this position starts at $60,000/annual, and with demonstrated experience and qualifications, candidates may earn up to $70,000/annual.

About Your Work Schedule, Location, Housing, and Travel

The Reporting Analyst will average 40-hours per week with a periodic increase of working hours (approximately 50-hours per week) required based on business needs.

This position will be based in Chautauqua Institution’s home office in Southwestern New York. Qualified candidates may also be considered for hybrid or telework.

The Marketing, Communications, and Enterprise department at Chautauqua Institution serves as a vital hub for strategic communication, brand management and revenue generation. This department is responsible for promoting the Institution's diverse cultural, educational, religious, and recreational offerings to a wide audience. Through thoughtful planning and targeted messaging, the team engages stakeholders and new audiences and enhances the Institution's visibility and impact.
