    Job Summary: The Financial Reporting Manager role supports executive management and is responsible for a variety of accounting and reporting responsibilities including monthly management reporting, quarterly external reporting, and technical accounting functions (e.g., annual goodwill impairment assessments, stock compensation, leases, new accounting pronouncements, etc.). The Financial Reporting Manager's responsibilities also include performing in-depth analysis of moderate to complex financial information and overseeing the preparation and review of the annual Corporate Responsibility Report.

    Responsibilities:

    • Oversees preparation of SEC filings, including proxy statements and annual reports.
    • Ensures internal and external financial statements are prepared in accordance with GAAP.
    • Manages the Company's monthly consolidation process, including international operations.
    • Oversees reporting and analysis of consolidated financials and intercompany balances.
    • Oversees preparation of the Company's annual Corporate Responsibility Report.
    • Manages technical accounting research efforts.
    • Research SEC and GAAP guidance, including performing peer research for various disclosures as necessary.
    • Assists with preparation of information for board meetings and quarterly earnings calls.
    • Oversees technical accounting functions such as annual goodwill impairment assessments, stock compensation, lease accounting and new accounting pronouncements.
    • Ensures reconciliations are performed accurately and in a timely manner.
    • Supports compliance with management's controls over financial reporting.
    • Identifies specific projects and system enhancements designed to improve processing efficiency of corporate accounting and subsidiary reporting.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Supervisory Responsibilities: Directly supervises non-supervisory employees. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the company's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, training and developing employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
    • CPA Certification.
    • A minimum of five years public accounting experience or industry experience with a publicly traded company (Big four or large regional firm with publicly traded clients).
    • Proven leadership skills.
    • Proficiency in computer applications such as Microsoft Office Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and other basic software products.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Strong analytical and research skills.
    • Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize assignments and manage multiple projects.
    • Strong partnering and communication skills.
    • Desire to drive efficiencies and improve processes.
