Our focus is to better connect our industries, with interesting and timely editorial features in our magazines and up to the minute market intelligence information.
We are seeking an account executive for the grocery portion of our business, to assist in growing that retail vertical. Applicants will work with our research and editorial teams (reporting directly to company owner), to engage with new potential advertisers and consulting clients.
Responsibilities:
- Generate new business through cold outreach, new client discovery and management of existing accounts.
- Explaining and outlining new product options as creative team develops.
- Manage existing relationships while engaging new opportunities as they are proper.
- Manage internal database, keeping client records and notes up to date.
- Potential travel to industry events and client meetings.
- Maintain client confidentiality in key situations.
Ideal candidates will possess:
- Outgoing, positive attitude and ability to work closely with team members.
- Some sales background, not necessarily in media or publishing.
- Strong communication skills, particularly via email.
- Ability to manage time with outcomes in mind.
Salary Range: $50,000-$65,000, plus commission pay
