Job summary:
The Foundation Assistant is primarily responsible for maintaining donor database records, including demographics and gift recording, and for producing financial and other reports as needed. This employee will also have good communication skills and prioritize positive and productive relationships with all Wesbury constituents, while assisting the department in general matters as directed.
Responsibilities:
Enter gifts into the database system.
Produce thank you letters and generate reports.
Maintain database records.
Prepare bulk mailings.
Assist with fundraising and resident events, as needed.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma (or equivalent)
Proficient in Excel, including charts, or willing and able to learn.
Demonstrate good communication & customer service skills; be detail-oriented and organized.
Work well with others; treat residents, co-workers, and staff with care and respect.
Protect resident confidentiality by not sharing information.
Adhere to all Wesbury personnel policies as they apply to the workplace.
