Top Foundation Executive develops and leads the vision, strategic planning, financial management, fundraising, and grantmaking operations that support the overall objectives of a foundation. Sets the overall goals for fundraising campaigns and program initiatives. Being a Top Foundation Executive represents the foundation to the public and media to communicate its mission, values, and accomplishments. Maintains positive relationships with foundation stakeholders, including the board of directors, grantees, community leaders, donors, and prospective donors. Additionally, Top Foundation Executive oversees the budget, distribution of foundation funds, and investment strategies to ensure the financial sustainability required to fulfill the foundation's mission. Ensures all foundation activities comply with applicable laws, reporting requirements, and regulations. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to board of directors or trustees. The Top Foundation Executive manages a departmental function within a broader corporate function. Develops major goals to support broad functional objectives. Approves policies developed within various sub-functions and departments. To be a Top Foundation Executive typically requires 8+ years of managerial experience. Manages customer accounts, satisfying company collection and revenue standards; performs inside sales and outside collections; helps maintain appearance of showroom; takes primary role in delivery and pick up of merchandise; may perform managerial functions or duties as assigned by General Manager; demonstrates effective communication and reasoning skills and shows management potential.
Principal ResponsibilitiesAcquire and Maintain CustomersBasic furniture, appliance, home electronic installation/removalComplies with all company vehicle safety standards and documentation.Credit/Customer Relationship ManagementCustomer payments and data entry in VersiRent computer programFill out receipt books, make journal entries.Inbound/Outbound Service callsMaking deliveries or collecting merchandiseSales and merchandisingAll other duties deemed necessary by store management.
Essential RequirementsExcellent telephone skillsIntermediate math skillsMaintain professional appearance.Must be able to drive during day, night and meet all safety requirements. Must be able to explain terms of rental/lease agreement to customer.Must be able to read, write and communicate effectively in person and over telephone Must be able to work overtime.Must be proficient in product features, benefits; must be able to work on showroom floor.Must have proficient navigational skills with a satisfactory driving record and meet insurability requirements Regular and consistent attendance, including nights and weekends as business dictates.
