Sets the overall goals for fundraising campaigns and program initiatives. Being a Top Foundation Executive represents the foundation to the public and media to communicate its mission, values, and accomplishments. Maintains positive relationships with foundation stakeholders, including the board of directors, grantees, community leaders, donors, and prospective donors. Additionally, Top Foundation Executive oversees the budget, distribution of foundation funds, and investment strategies to ensure the financial sustainability required to fulfill the foundation's mission. Ensures all foundation activities comply with applicable laws, reporting requirements, and regulations. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to board of directors or trustees. Project Coordinator - Partnerships for Success (PFS)
The PFS Coordinator functions as a member of the Prevention Department. The Project Coordinator will dedicate their full-time position to coordinating the Partnerships for Success underage drinking prevention work in the communities of Southbury and Thomaston. This will include developing Local Prevention Councils, expanding capacity, implementing prevention initiatives, attending conferences and trainings, and other relevant activities. and partnering with coalition leadership to implement the Strategic Prevention Framework.
Fulltime/Non-Exempt: 40 Hours/week
Hourly Rate Range begins at: $21.00
QUALIFICATIONS
BA/BS degree in social work, public health, or related field or two years’ experience implementing relevant prevention or public health programs. Demonstrated ability to effectively implement prevention initiatives with diverse populations in a culturally responsive and respectful manner is required. Successful experience working with community coalitions and environmental prevention strategies is preferred. Excellent communication and documentation skills, attention to detail, and time management skills are required. Strong computer and organizational skills with the ability to function in a team environment and in collaboration with schools, law enforcement, and other community leaders. The position also requires a flexible schedule and local travel. CPS Certification required within 18 months of hire.
Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods of time sitting at a desk, using the phone, and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds at times.
Valid Driver’s license required.
