Top Fundraising Executive develops and directs an organization's fundraising strategies, campaigns, capital development initiatives, and operations to support the overall organizational development and revenue objectives. Leads donor stewardship and relations to identify, develop, retain, and nurture a portfolio of individual and institutional donors. Being a Top Fundraising Executive researches and identifies potential corporate or governmental partnerships and grant funding opportunities. Creates collaborative coordination between staff and internal stakeholders to plan events and communications to increase donor engagement. Additionally, Top Fundraising Executive uses technology to manage and monitor donor information and produce data-driven measurement and reporting of the progress of fundraising goals. The Giorgio Foundation is a nonprofit foundation created to fund research for a cure for NF1 - a type of Neurofibromatosis. We’re currently looking for a dynamic and experienced Executive Director to join the team and guide our organization forward by overseeing operational, financial, and technical aspects of the foundation.
Neurofibromatosis affects about 1 in 3,000 and is typically diagnosed in early childhood. NF1 disables the gene that normally controls tumor growth. The Giorgio Foundation is unique – a separate non-profit funds all expenses for the foundation’s events and operating expenses. This means 100% of every single dollar donated will be used by The Giorgio Foundation to fund highly focused medical research.
It also means the foundation depends upon fundraising events that provide a significant return on investment measured against the underlying event expenses.
As the Executive Director, you’ll be responsible for overseeing fundraising and developing innovative strategies to increase donations and support our mission.
You will have minimum administrative staffing. You will develop and execute strategy.
You’ll work closely with the Board of Directors and volunteers to ensure that fundraising goals are met and exceeded.
